The Void Whisperer was the largest surviving fragment of Veylorn. It had hidden in the deepest shadows for millennia, slowly regaining power by feeding on fear and corrupted souls. It allied with the Abyssal Eclipse Faction because they provided vessels and sacrifices. The Whisperer saw Lin Xiao’s rapid rise and System as a direct threat to the old order it once represented.

Murong Xue and Mei Ling battled Vespera’s elite shadow guards, their sword and shadow techniques creating a deadly dance. Xuan Yue and Su Mei provided ranged support, starlight and water laws disrupting enemy formations. The women fought with coordination and ferocity, refusing to let Lin Xiao carry the entire battle alone.

The fighting was brutal and prolonged. Lin Xiao took several more hits from Vespera, including a shadow blade that cut across his ribs. Pain flared constantly from the corrosion. He pushed through, integrating stolen shadow laws to counter her attacks. After hundreds of moves, he landed a critical strike that damaged Vespera severely, forcing her to retreat.

On the other side, the harem overwhelmed Mistress Crimson. Princess Yan Zi delivered the final blow with a powerful phoenix explosion after Bing Yue froze the blood user in place. Crimson fell, her Devourer fragment weakened.

The Abyssal Eclipse forces broke and fled. Victory was secured, but it came with cost. Lin Xiao sustained new wounds and further corrosion spread. His women also carried injuries from the hard fight, though none life-threatening.
